description:
The role of Reception Co-ordinator is key to the running of this very busy reception area and is the link between reception staff and the Practice Manager!
Requirements:
Reporting to the practice manager, you will co-ordinate all operations of reception and staff. You will ensure reception is running efficiently at all times and assist the Practice manager with administrative duties and some bookkeeping at times.  Your role will also include:
 
  • Answering patient enquiries and booking appointment times
  • Billing, Medicare and patient accounts
  • Organising of banking
  • Co-ordination of patient manual filing system
  • Ordering stock
  • Assist the Practice Manager in implementing new systems
  • Providing assistance to GP's
  • Ensuring that patients are not kept waiting and advising of waiting times
