Nurse Educator

The Warena Centre is a low care facility with ageing in place, dementia and respite places. As a Nurse Educator with BCS you will be responsible for facilitating, coordinating and leading, the implementation of relevant education to enable achievement of excellence in the provision of quality care and service to our residents.

To be successful in this role you will need to have great communication skills, a love of Aged Care, enjoy being a special part of a team, committed to using best practise principles and be able to demonstrate leadership ability in adult education. Experience working within a quality systems framework and meeting accreditation standards is also required. You will also have a professional qualification in a health related field such as nursing, or a qualification in education or Workplace Training & Assessment and be available to educate on all shifts (when and if necessary). The ability to work in harmony with our Christian Mission statement is also required.
