You’re an energetic and resourceful person seeking to join our Child and Family Centre as a Child Development Officer with St. Marys Penrith Family Day Care, based in St Mary's. Our service currently provides affordable Child Care to children aged between 0 and 12 years, in the homes of registered carers.

Pivotal to the service, you’ll support the carers who provide quality child care to our home based clients, travel to local destinations and attend caseload visits, allocate or coordinate resources including the recruitment, training of potential carers and work within our programs via planning, conducting playgroup sessions adding to the overall support to the program.

Ideally you’ll be a relationship builder with a background and tertiary qualification in early childhood or care giving who could bring to the team excellent communication and report writing skills, proficient computer skills, a current first aid certificate and a current NSW driver’s license with access to their own vehicle.
